Yamanto Brewing Schools
 If
you are new to brewing or you are looking for some new ideas, Yamanto store is
running two basic brewing events.
Basic Beer Brewing.
In just a couple of hours we'll cover the basics of how to home brew beer, the
equipment, ingredients and how to put it all together. Sunday October 12th at
11.00am.
Basic Spirits and Liqueurs.
If you are interested in making your own liqueurs, come along and
find out what you can do or simply brush up on your skills. Sunday October
12th at 9.00am.

If you are interested in making your own liqueurs, come along and find out what you can do or brush
up on your skills. Kelly will be running an information session at the Jimboomba Store on making your own spirits and liqueurs.

 Have you bought yourself a brew kit or are you just new to home brewing? Get the
best out of your new brew kit and come along to a Brewers Choice Home Brew
information session. We’ll show you how to make beer, not just ordinary beer but
great beer; beer you can be proud to serve to your friends.
In just a
couple of hours we’ll cover all the basics of how to Home Brew, the equipment,
the ingredients and how to put it all together.

Browns Plains Rum Competition
If you're
good with Rum, come to the Browns Plains Rum comp and bring a bottle of
your best with you. Judging is by "peoples choice" so the winner is simply the
most popular rum on the day.
The comp is on Saturday October 11 at 12.30pm.
You can bring your entry with you on the day, or if you can't make it, drop it into any Brewers Choice store before the
previous Wednesday, and we'll be sure to enter it into the competition for you.

Oktoberfest Brewing Competition
 The Oktoberfest Brewing
competition will be held at the
Acacia Ridge Brewers Choice store on the Saturday October 25 commencing at 1pm. For details concerning the competition, contact Andrew at the
Acacia Ridge store on 3216 6499.
Judging will be by "Peoples Choice", so all you have to is turn up on the day, try a heap of different beers and
see which you think is the best! Even better if you can enter a few of your own!
Lagers, Pilsners, Alts, WeissBiers, Bocks, Kolsch; the choices are huge. Time is running out! Start brewing your entry now!
